Ukulele: Similar to my guitar idea (seen below), I would like to paint/color a ukulele. However, this project will be rather different. I would like to 3d print the ukulele, and then proceed to color it. I would like this project to be a visual representation of the many different types of arts and mathematics (which some would view as an art, or having a direct relation to art). Traits of mathematics will be shown in the aspect that it is 3d printed (which requires heavily on mathematical dimensions and measurements), and it being a fretted instrument (which requires very specific scale length, fret placement, string tension, and more). The art/music aspect will be shown in the images/designs that I would paint on it, and the fact that it will be a functional musical instrument

Electric guitar: Being a guitar player for half my life, this is a project I would really like to take part in. I think any musician should have some sort of connection with their instrument; what makes their instrument theirs, what makes it different? I have always find guitars that have been personalized by their owner to be more interesting. Guitars players like Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Tom Morello, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and many others play personalized instruments. I personally have always questioned why they did what they did to their guitars. If I do this project, I would like my instrument to show something to others, and have it potentially make them develop a question about it. I’ve always enjoyed playing guitar, and building guitars. I would like to start off with a white guitar body, and use it as my canvas, and paint it. I would like to paint things on it that also have importance to me; whether it me pictures/images, or phrases. Art and music have always been important to me, and I think by doing this project, I will express that.
